About Nyachar

Nyachar is a multi-skilled young professional with a sound background in conflict management, community-based development, and women empowerment. She has engaged in numerous professional undertakings in the last four years, managing community-based programs in refugees setting and women-oriented initiatives in South Sudan.

Nyachar previously served as a Child Protection Officer with Windle Trust & UNHCR-Kakuma, Kenya as well as a Protection Officer for Alliance Action Aid (AFAA) – roles that gave her direct exposure to Girl Mentorship Programs and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) interventions.

With her passion in gender parity, Nyachar previously worked with Eve Organization, a Juba-based woman-led program with a goal to promote and nurture the next generation of women leaders in South Sudan. Nyachar currently volunteers with Centre for Livelihoods, Peace Research and Poverty Reduction (CLIP) where she assists in project initiation, programs implementation, project design and proposal development.

With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Armed Conflict and Peace Studies and a minor in Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Nairobi, Nyachar possesses a remarkable skill sets in Public Administration, Peace Building and Conflict Management programs. She is a distinguished Windle-Trust Scholar with outstanding experience in data analysis, report writing, analytical thinking and policies development.

A multi-lingual, Nyachar is an excellent communicator with both oral and written communication skills. She previously served as a Desktop Article Writer for the Film Aid International, writing and publishing high-volume articles on need basis.
